
The 25th Kissinger Sommer Festival

Founded in 1986 the classical music festival takes place every summer between the middle of June and the middle of July. The festival has a long history of successful partnerships with many of the world's leading singers, musicians and conductors and attracts a continuously growing, regional and international audience.
The 25th Kissinger Sommer features the most talented and respected artistic leaders in the classical music industry today: Lang Lang, Cecilia Bertoli, Waltraud Meier, Christine Schäfer, Nicole Cabell, Mariss Jansons, Kent Nagano, Grigory Sokolov, Vadim Repin, Frank Peter Zimmermann, Rudolf Buchbinder, Nikolay Znaider as well as top class European orchestras like the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Wiener Symphoniker, the Symphony Orchestra of the Bavarian Radio, the Czech Philharmonic, the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, the Deutsche-Sinfonie-Orchestra Berlin and the Russian National Orchestra.

With 57 concerts, the Kissinger Sommer 2010 offers something for everyone and many interesting concert locations: The splendid Regentenbau with its famous acoustics, beautiful churches, monasteries, and other attractive places.
