Bad Kissingen is a town to to enjoy yourself in: you can drop in to one of the many local wine taverns, take a leisurely walk around the unique shops in the old town quarter or a visit to one of the many events in the resorts cultural programme. The picturesque town centre is packed with bars, coffee shops and restaurants, most of which have outside seating areas where you can be served until late in the evening during the summer months, relaxing to music and enjoying culinary delights.

The newly renovated “Kurgarten Café” is beautifully situated at the side of the “Kurgarten” and serves a wonderful selection of cakes gateaux and pastries. You can also find a large choice of high quality cafés in the town, whose properietors will love to serve you some of their home-made delights.

Franken wine

A speciality of Frankonia is its wine. Visit the two nearby wine growing villages of Wirmsthal and Ramsthal, and take part in some wine tasting. The wine growers will be happy to tell you about their specialities. Their wines are usually on sale on the premises.
