Prince Otto Von Bismarck
Bad Kissingen is still very proud that such a famous personality as Prince Otto von Bismarck spent so much time here. He was often known to move his office to Bad Kissingen where he could mix business with pleasure. Many political decisions were inspired here. He luckily escaped an assassination attempt made once during his stay.

Prince Otto von BismarckOn the hundredth anniversary of his death, Bad Kissingen founded a museum in the very building in which he took residence. It exists within a 350 sqm display area in the Obere Saline building on the outskirts of Bad Kissingen. With its beautiful orangerie and café the museum is certainly worth visiting.
