The Schmuckhof - an open-air salon
It is difficult to hide ones enthusiasm whilst exploring the “Schmuckhof”. Although it is enveloped by the surrounding banquet halls its mediterranean flair makes you feel like you are somewhere in southern Europe.

Prince regent Luitpold was most impressed and complimented professor Max Littmann who also designed Europe’s largest “Wandelhalle1” and the “Regentenbau”.

The schmuckhof seranades

The “Schmuckhof’s” romantic location point is between the great banquet halls of the “Regentenbau” and its elegance reminds one of an Italian garden in baroque and renaissance style. On many occasions in the summer it is possible to enjoy the “Schmuckhof” serenades in this beautiful setting.
